Volos was home to the sculptor, Thanis, and his daughter, Daniella. While Hercules and Iolaus were visiting Thanis, Proteus began a small crime spree in Volos; taking the forms of local villagers. Hercules was able to expose Proteus and get him to stop.
Volos is a modern city in Thessaly, located near the ancient city of Iolkos, which was the original home of Jason.
