Thessalonia is the kingdom that Deianeira bragged to Melus that she was a princess of. In reality, she was a princess of Troy.
- Deianeira might have meant Thessaly (a region which really exists) or Thessala (which does not) or she may have tried to refer to Thessalonica (Thessaloniki), a Greek city founded in 315 BC by Alexander the Great, or could simply have been making it up.
