Tara was a recurring character on Xena: Warrior Princess. She was an arrogant youngster, who wanted to replace Gabrielle as Xena's side-kick. Several fights broke out between them, but they eventually became friends. She promised to be good from then on, but broke the law once more when she danced in a town (Palios) where it was banned. But, thanks to Xena and Gabrielle sort things out with a little help from Autolycus.
She belonged to the Red Valley Gang and seemed to be in a relationship with another member, Micah. Tara desperately tried to get Xena's attention by beating up Gabrielle, creating a feud between the two when Xena allows Tara to tag along with them, claiming that she sees a lot of herself in her. Once getting to know each other, Gabrielle and Tara sort out their differences and the two become friends. However, subsequently, left The Red Valley Gang.
