Seraphin or "Serafin" was a childhood friend of Gabrielle's, who became involved with the Cult of Dahak on Xena: Warrior Princess.
Seraphin became the sacrifice that would bring about the re-birth of Hope. She seemed to have been brainwashed by the Cult, claiming that she believed Hope was good and was willing to die to release her onto Earth. When Gabrielle told her that Hope was her daughter, she started to become aware of what was really happening. She made it her main mission to touch Hope's cocoon with her own blood, in order to set her free.
Her fate remains unknown after the events in "Sacrifice II".
