Roberto Gaston Orci was born on July 20, 1973 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He wrote several episodes of both Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys with Alex Kurtzman, his work partner and frequent collaborator. He is perhaps best known for creating the television show Fringe (with Kurtzman and J.J. Abrams).
Along with Kurtzman, Roberto has written and produced episodes for Jack of All Trades, Hawaii Five-0 and Alias. He and Kurtzman have also also wrote and produced several blockbuster movies, such as Star Trek (featuring Karl Urban), Eagle Eye, Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
