Petrakis was a farmer who lived in Arcadia. Xena used his name, telling Iolaus that Petrakis was a brutal warlord. In fact, he was a man of peace whose only son had died at the age of twenty after falling into a trap set by Xena. Petrakis was able to convince Hercules that Xena was a monster, no different from the Nemean Lion or Hydra, and that the hero had to help fight her.
