Osiris is the Egyptian God of Afterlife, the Egyptian Underworld, and Rebirth. He is married to his sister, Isis and is the father of Horus and Uncle of Anubis.
Osiris, the first pharaoh, is killed by his brother Set, who wants his throne, Nephthys and Isis, finds the pieces of Osiris, restoring his life temporarily, with magic through a spell he learned from Amon Ra. This is done in order to conceive a Horus, the heir of Egypt. Then Osiris becomes the Judge in afterlife.
