Obsession was the potion that Aphrodite used to distract Xena, Gabrielle and Joxer from returning the mystic diamond to the Temple of the Heavens. It made Xena obsessed with fishing, Gabrielle with her vanity and Joxer with the story of Atis the Ape Man. However, her use of the potion only resulted in the three succeeding.
Aphrodite claimed that she made the potion and named it.
