Marysa was a virgin from Meliad. She was dating Prince Nestor. She took part in the Festival of Dionysus when Prince Pentheus and Ares were plotting to kill King Iphicles and take over Meliad. Ares entered her body when she drank the New Wine at the Festival and, had Hercules not intervened, she would have killed the King and been married to Pentheus. Luckily, Ares left her body after the plot was uncovered.
