Marton Csokas

Marton Csokas (pronounced cho-kash) was born on 30th June, 1966 in Invercargill, New Zealand. He is an actor of both film and television, most famous for his role as Celeborn in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the role of Borias on Xena: Warrior Princess, the lover and partner in crime of Xena in her evil days.

Aside from his roles on Xena: Warrior Princess and The Lord of the Rings, Marton has also appeared in hit films such as Kingdom of Heaven, xXx, The Bourne Supremecy, Æon Flux and the 2010 remake of Alice in Wonderland. He has also had roles in television shows such as Shortland Street, The Lost World, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Cleopatra 2525 and BeastMaster. He recently completed work in the 2014 film Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, the sequel to the 2005 film, Sin City.
