The Lady Marie DeValle was also known as the revolutionary the Chartreuse Fox. She was a French aristocrat who was sympathetic to the plight of the peasants. She spent all her family's wealth on the cause. She was finally captured by Captain Gerrard but rescued by Robert.
- DeValle may have been a descendant of Ephiny, but this would mean that Xenan or his descendants started producing human children. She could also be Ephiny's reincarnation, and/or have a karmic or genetic connection to Samsara. "Les Contemptibles" was produced before any of these other developments were introduced to the franchise.
