This Messenger was one of 100 runners sent from Troy to find Hercules and bring him back to help the Trojans re-take their city from the Blue Cult. All of the other runners died from exhaustion or were killed by Hera and her minions. This Messenger was himself, killed, after he delivered his message to Hercules.
