Lief was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was a Guardian Angel from Heaven. He was the Guardian Angel of Gabrielle, and felt responsible for her being cast into Hell after Callisto led a cadre of Archdemons past the Abyssal Threshold. He also claimed himself to have been a good fighter on Earth, but was apparently not considered for promotion to archangel.
