Queen Karis of Corinth was married to King Sisyphus.
Karis was barren and could not give birth to children. When Sisyphus consulted the Oracle of Delphi and discovered that Timuron's wife, Daphne could bear his child, he was prepared to throw Karis aside as queen and take Daphne as his wife. Before he could do so, Hercules took Sisyphus to the Underworld where he was meant to be (HTLJ: "Highway to Hades").
