Jordis was a rebel leader fighting with his wife, Rheanna, against King Melkos. Jordis was shot in the chest with an arrow and fell from a waterfall in a battle with Melkos' men. He was presumed dead but it was revealed later that the arrow only pierced a medallion he was wearing and he was nursed back to health by Mirim whose sons found him downstream. Jordis recuperated secretly for two months until he was healthy enough to re-join the rebel cause. When the rebels finally defeated Melkos, with the assistance of Hercules and Iolaus, Jordis and Rheanna took over leadership of the community.
