Simone Kessell's scenes were cut from the film. According to an interview with Kevin Sorbo in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys: An Insider's Guide to the Continuing Adventures (p. 179):
- Simone Kessel [sic] was actually in the very first Hercules movie, Hercules and the Amazon Women. She's actually the first Kiwi girl I kissed–she's a great kisser, by the way. I had no idea at the time she was eighteen. The scene was cut from the final print, but Simone ended up coming back in small parts in a couple of movies.
