Howar was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was the boyfriend of Minya and lived in Laurel with her.
When Gareth, a deadly and reputed giant, attempted to destroy Laurel, Howar found Xena and Gabrielle to ask for their help in stopping the Giant. During his time spent with Xena, he developed feelings for her. Minya, who seemingly idolised Xena, became envious of her love rival, but Xena assured her that she has no interest in Howar. She told him to seduce Howar with leather garments, which resulted in him picking Minya over Xena.
He was played by Murray Keane.
