Hecate is the goddess of magic, the crossroads, the occult, and the paranormal (ghosts and spirits). In Hercules She is Hera's sister. According to Lycus, the She-Demon in Ister gave Hecate the souls of the mortals she turned to stone.

In the myth Hecate is the daughter Perses and Asteria.

Background Edit

  • According to Hesiod, Hecate is not Hera's (and thus, Zeus', Poseidon's, Hades's, Demeter's, Hestia's and Cheiron's) sister but her first cousin once removed. She is the daughter of Perses, the son of Crius, and Asteria, the daughter of Phoebe.
  • In spite of the fact that she is the goddess of witchcraft, Hecate does not appear, or is even mentioned, in A Wicked Good Time.
