Gina Torres was born on April 25th, 1969, in Manhattan, New York, USA. She is notable for playing the role of Nebula on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and being the original Cleopatra on Xena: Warrior Princess.
In addition to her notable credits for the Xenaverse, Torres has also appeared in television shows such as "Cleopatra 2525", 24, Firefly, Alias, and Huge. She has also appeared in many blockbuster films, such as The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded and Serenity. In 2011, she scored a main role as lawyer Jessica Pearson, who makes up one half of the law firm Pearson Hardman (later renamed Pearson Darby following a merger, and then Pearson Darby Specter) on the USA Network series Suits. As of 2013, Suits is concluding it's third season.
