The Ghidra was one of Hera's "pets." It was a two-headed, fire-breathing monster. The sting of its tail caused instant death and if the stinger was cut off it regenerated very quickly.
The Ghidra was killed by Hercules, Iolaus, and Jason after it attacked several villages and killed Medea's parents.
