The archangel Michael released the Four Horsemen to end the World. Hercules and Iolaus team with Ares in an attempt to stop them. The nature of the four horsemen is unknown, it is unknown exactly what they are, if they are demons, a type of angel or beings of power, but they are at the service of heaven and at the orders of Archangel Michael.
Power and Abilities[]
The Four Horsemen have proven to be immortal and invulnerable to common weapons and have enough power to fight Iolaus a servant warrior of the light, the demigod Hercules and Ares, a god of Olympus, just as the gods can generate and project beam of energy like form of attack and it is not easy to destroy their physical representation. Hercules destroyed the War Knight's physical form with his own sword, but he materialized again. The Knight of War can create conflicts and massacres, the Knight of Famine can dry up crops and land, the Knight of Pestilence can cause disease and the Knight of Death can likely spread death.
