Domesticles was one of the Argonauts who sailed with Jason to bring the Golden Fleece to Argos. Ten years later, he was part of the second expedition of the Argo when Castor and the Blood-Eye Cult stole the Golden Fleece. He agreed to go on the second voyage only if Hercules would lead it as he didn't trust Jason who was in a depressed and alcoholic state. Domesticles was a master of the discus and worked well with Phoebe (HTLJ "Once a Hero").
Sometime later, Domesticles and the other Argonauts were guests at the wedding of Jason and Alcmene. They had to fight off a group of mercenaries that were hired by Patronius to disrupt the event. Domesticles spent some time at the wedding with the 50 Daughters of King Thespius (HTLJ "The Wedding of Alcmene").
