Craesus was a Centaur who worked on the farm owned by Penelope's father in Nespa. He plotted with Nemis to abduct Penelope and her maid of honour, Cheris, at Penelope's wedding. He was killed by Hercules, who, even temporarily blinded, was able to shoot him with an arrow.
