Conan the Barbarian (1982) is a Universal Pictures film based on the writings of Robert E. Howard. Clips from the film were featured in the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys episode "Les Contemptibles."
Kevin Sorbo would later star in another film about a Robert E. Howard character: Kull the Conqueror.
