This Camp Boss was the foreman at a diamond mine. Hercules and Xena came to warn them that Darphus and his army were nearby and might attack. The Boss disagreed, saying every man at the mine had fought in at least one war so Ares would bear them no ill will. Darphus did, in fact, attack shortly thereafter.
