Queen Camilla ruled Meliad with her husband King Iphicles for many years. They had two sons: Prince Pentheus and Prince Nestor. One night, on the eve of the Festival of Dionysus, Camilla had a horrible premonition that her husband would be killed by the virgins at the Festival. She asked Nestor to find Hercules to help and the hero uncovered a plot devised by Pentheus and Ares to kill the king and take over Meliad. Luckily, the hero foiled the plot and saved the royal couple.
