Calliope is the muse of epic poetry and eloquence.
In the myth she is the mother of Orpheus, and daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne she is the sister of Terpsichore and the other muses also sister of Apollo, Dionysus, Artemis, Athena, Ares, Hermes and Hercules.
