Sailor mars vs Xena
Who would win between these raven haired female characters?
they are both friends with blonde, energetic girls
sailor Mars never started out as a villain
sailor Mars does not wheeled a sword instead, uses papers as weapons
XWP Top Ten Lists
Someone on Twitter asked if we had to recommend only 10 essential episodes from each season of Xena: Warrior Princess what they would be. This was really challenging. If we could do 12 episodes per season rather than 10 I think it would be a stronger list. Also, one would miss out on some important things by not watching any Hercules: The Legendary Journeys episodes, but here are those lists:
"A Friend in Need: The Director's Cut
Bruce Allpress and Galyn Gorg
We've lost some performers from the Xenaverse family.
Galyn Görg who played Helen in XWP "Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts" and Anuket in HTLJ "Mummy Dearest" passed away after a battle with cancer on July 15, 2020. She was 55.
Bruce Allpress who played six different characters on passed away on April 23, 2020. He was 89.
Ryan Reynolds
I'm wondering if the rightmost guard might've been him doing a background role in 1997.
is how he looked in 1996...
Watching The King of Assassins today and noticed a resemblance then eerily BPRD (Reynolds' 2014 film) had an advertisement during the commercial...
If it's not him, would anyone agree there's a resemblance?
I don't think these 3 guards are mentioned in the end credits as "co-starring" is probably limited to those with speaking roles, which none of the three had.
Agree? Disagree?

Xena Anniversary DVD/Blu Ray collection
Xena got a special Anniversary DVD back in 2005, for the 10th anniversary. I never agreed with the episodes on the set, didn't represent all the season, and was too bias towards some.
So let's pretend, they decided to do a new special edition set for the 25th anniversary. And even more (we can dream) they decided to remaster the series on a special Blu-Ray set, and handpick a selection of 30 episodes on the set on a 6-disc set, each disc representing one season.
What 30 episodes would you select for the 25th-anniversary set? (So the set is truly not bias towards one particular season, every season will have exactly five episodes selected to make up 30)
My select of 30 episodes for a 25th-anniversary set (with five episodes from every season)

Don't You Wish
Don't you wish that someone would make a DVD collection of all of Callisto's moments within the Xenaverse? I'd like to know your opinion (s)?

Hello everybody. I’m going to adopt this Wikia and I applied a week ago. Under the terms of the Wikia, it is necessary for other active Wikia participants to express their opinion on this. This is necessary for adoption. Maybe you write your opinion on this blog.

Date Project Complete!
I'm very pleased to say, that after many long months, I have finally completed what I've been calling the "Date Project"! This involved adding known filming dates to every episode infobox, creating new articles for each day of the year, and adding episode air dates, and known filming dates to those pages. One can now scroll through every day of the year and find out what was happening in the history of the Xenaverse!
I have also added the birthdates for principal cast members and a few crew members to these pages. Adding birthdates will have to be an ongoing project. I encourage anyone who comes across one that hasn't yet been added to please do so!
My next project is to continue going through HTLJ, episode by episode, to create galleries, p…

Questions about Xena: Warrior Princess
I'm considering ordering it on amazon and watching it to kill time for Avengers: Infinity War
What's it like? Obviously, a warrior princess wielding a sword, and Greek mythology. Does it follow a sort of monster of the week format like Buffy, Charmed, Supernatural, etc.? Lots of battles to the death against evil? Are there main villains of a season or just monsters of the week like Doctor Who?

Facebook Group and Reboot Updates
Hi All!
I've created a new Facebook group for the Wiki! Please visit at Legendary Journeys: Hercules & Xena and "Like" and follow the page. The original group has been defunct for some time but I'll try to be active on this one. I expect traffic on our Wiki will start to go up.
With the recent success of the Wonder Woman film, I'm sure that NBC/Universal will kick into high gear on the Untitled Xena Reboot. Now that audiences have proven that a female action hero can be financially profitable they will not waste time jumping on the bandwagon with a proven property they already own. I was quite excited to see Javier Grillo-Marxuach's take on Xena but, as confirmed by The Mary Sue in April, Grillo-Marxuach has stepped back. It remains to be s…
Javier Grillo-Marxuach
We have finally heard some news directly from Javier Grillo-Marxuach about the Untitled Xena Reboot. He posted a brief Q&A on his Tumblr in which he confirms that the new series will be a reboot rather than a revival. It will not be some kind of modern retelling (as some fans have dreaded), instead it will be "... a truly female-driven, sword-and-sandal, period epic set in Bronze-age Greece - and to build on the success of the classic, original series to launch an event series we hope can return year after year… not unlike Doctor Who." To me, this sounds like great news!
Even though it's unlikely that Lucy Lawless and Renée O'Connor will be back in their original roles, Grillo-Marxuach says he is open to the possibility of the original cas…

‘Modern reboot’ of Xena in the works
Big News!
http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/modern-reboot-of-xena-in-the-works/
21 July 2015
by Darren Wee
Xena: Warrior Princess could be back on TV screens as soon as next year.
NBC and NBC Universal International are reportedly working on a ‘modern reboot’ of the action-adventure drama.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the drama is in the ‘extremely early development stages,’ but original executive producers Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi have already signed onto the project and the search for a writer is underway.
It is unclear how and if Lucy Lawless is involved with the reboot, but sources told the Hollywood Reporter that insiders wanted the original Xena to have both a role onscreen and behind the scenes.
‘Sources say the new Xena would hav…

Variety Article
I've returned!
Hello to you all!
I do apologize for my absence from this Wiki, but I haven't had a laptop for a year or so now, therefore restricting me to only be able to view the site and not edit! But now that I am back on the web, I will surely get to work again, my main focus especially on the Xena article.
I look forward to continuing editing again!

If my name looks familiar from a very, very long time ago, and that very, very long time ago involved yahoo, then yes, I'm that same person. If you knew me, then please by all means say hello!!
Note to other editors: If there's anything regarding Xena or Xena characters/plot I can assist with editing or checking, please let me know.
Happy to be here!
Gods
Gods are unique in their ways; including magic, immortality, conjuration, materializing/teleportation, healing spells and more. If they really existed in our world, I would be fascinated and choked.
When I see Athena die at the end of "Motherhood", I just think it´s wrong.
What is your opinion about the Twilight of the Gods? Was it neseccary? Was it for the greater good? was it just stupid?
Well, what do you think? :)
Question
Now, I haven´t seen Young Hercules, but I wonder if Kora and Hercules had a relationship going on?
I´m very curious jsut so you know and please tell me if you know, would really appreciate it :)
Project
Today I started with a new story that im writing. It´s about the continuation of the Xena: Warrior Princess series but has it´s own title. I call it "Mel: The Battling Bard". Its about Mel who are the son of Ares and Adonia, Adonia was the only daugther of Gabrielle and Virgil. So the story is very lore friendly and the main character is a demi-god. I´m on the first episode/adventure of him. My question is, should I upload the adventures of Mel on the wikia or not? Otherwise I just would like you to know that I was beginning this project today and I will not stop.
Mel: The Battling Bard takes place 40 years after Gabrielle and Virgil had a child which was year 33. By that the story takes place year 73.
The adventures will not really have that…
Favorite Characters
I Joined the wiki yesterday and I love it. Have done some minor edits and stuff :)
So I wanted to know which is your favorite character in Xena Warrior Princess and/or Hercules Legendary Journeys?
My favorite character is Joxer. He is so funny and always make me happy and laugh, he has a good sense of humor and is very interesting. Here is my favorite quotes of him:
"Joxer the Lionheart is ready for action!" - For Him the Bell Tools
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" - Been there, Done that'
New Background/Wallpaper
I've been toying with creating new backgrounds/wallpapers for the site. Here are the two I have so far.
- Option #1
What are your thoughts? Are they any good? If anyone else wants to try making some please do and post them so we can all vote!

Xena: The Lost Episode
I was just watching "Fallen Angel" with the audio commentary by R.J. Stewart and Eric Gruendemann and they mention an episode of Xena that deals with Alexander the Great. Apparently, it was shot after "Fallen Angel" and Charles Mesure plays Alexander.
They say the studio wouldn't allow it to air because it had too much sex and violence!
Has anyone seen this? I hope they'll release it on DVD!
Sister Wikis?
Hey All,
I was wondering what you thought about the idea of approaching the admins of the Legend of the Seeker Wiki and the Spartacus Wiki about joining together as "sister" wikis?
I'm thinking because all three franchises were essentially created by the same people it might make sense to link the three wikis somehow. Perhaps even just with links/ads on our main pages. Also, though the other wikis do not yet have nearly as much information or work completed on them, they both have main pages I really like. I kind of feel like we need a facelift!
Anyway, just a thought. Discuss.

The Keyboard is Mightier...
Ok, been gone for a very long time now... college and work has kind of got on top of me! But I'm slowly making a comeback :) sort of... I'm STILL working on the story section for Xena on my laptop, slowly watching each pivotal episode and writing out Xena's story. It's taken me almost TWO years (well, a little less, considering I haven't worked on it for like four months lol), but I'm slowly getting there! However, when I'm not working on that, I will be here on the Wikia, adding new pages, new images and having a good clear up :)
And remember, ask me if I'm needed or you're stuck - I'm also here to help and guide you guys - whether it's a query on working templates or something about the history of XWP that you want to check, just ask! Jus…

Swords and Sandals
I just wanted to let everyone know about my blog, Swords and Sandals. I write reviews there of all the great sword and sandal films. I pay a lot of attention to the design of sets, props and costumes. There are also posts there with images of the Hercules and Xena props that I have in my collection.

HTLJ Season Three
At long last, I have finished going through HTLJ season three. I've properly formatted each episode page with the new infobox and gallery. I've added images to each gallery and created character pages for all of the characters.
There are several characters who are named but uncredited. If you can help identify these actors, please do! Elektra, Remo, the voice of Braxus, Boy, Hunter, and Martus.
Many of the episode summaries could stand to be wikified.
Also, if you're new to the site and looking for a project, there are tons of missing performer pages. Just click on the red links to create a new article!
On to season four!
