Barry Duffield was born in the UK and moved to Australia as a child. He is a graduate of the South Seas Film and Television School in New Zealand.
Duffield is best known for playing Lugo on Spartacus but he played four characters in the Xenaverse beginning with Maximus in the Young Hercules episode "Keeping Up with the Jasons."
