The Athens City Academy, or just the Athens Academy, is the place that is attended by Bards, where they are asked to perform and recive a qualification.
Gabrielle applied and won a place at the academy, but chose to continue travelling with Xena instead. She did however convince the legendary Homer to stay here and motivated him to tell his stories.
