Archeus was a general who plotted with Prince Minos to kill his brother, Orestes, so that Minos could become king. Secretly, Archeus was plotting against Minos as well. He planned to kill him and take his throne. Unfortunately for Archeus, Iolaus was able to save Orestes. While fighting Iolaus, Archeus was crushed and killed by a falling chandelier.
