The Aphrodite de Milo was a copper statue of the goddess Aphrodite. It stood in a temple in Elis. When King Augeus wanted to re-dedicate the temple to Hera he tried to have the statue removed. Instead, the arms were broken off. Aphrodite believed the statue should be repaired but Hercules liked it the way it was.

- The Aphrodite de Milo is based on the famous Venus de Milo, so named because it was found on the island of Milos. The actual statue is made of marble and is currently at the Louvre in France.
- The statue seen on HTLJ looks almost nothing like the real-world version, and in fact, looks more like a statue from India than from the Greek world.
