Alexander Hilary "Alex" Kurtzman was born on September 7, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He wrote several episodes of both Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys with Roberto Orci, his work partner and frequent collaborator. He is perhaps best known for creating the television show Fringe (with Orci and J.J. Abrams).
Along with Orci, Alex has written and produced episodes for Jack of All Trades, Hawaii Five-0 and Alias. He and Roberto have also also wrote and produced several blockbuster movies, such as Star Trek (featuring Karl Urban), Eagle Eye, Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
